Skin Tips for the Festive Season

We are well and truly in the midst of the festive season. With long beach days ahead and Christmas parties happening every other night, your body and skin will be exposed to some harsh conditions – alcohol consumption, party treats, late nights and too much sun just to name a few. But it doesn’t mean you have to say goodbye to clear, beautiful skin.

We’ve put together a few steps you can take to keep skin in tip-top shape as the mercury soars ensuring you glow all summer long.

Stay hydrated
To avoid breakouts and blotchy skin drink plenty of water throughout the day and when socializing. It’s also important to apply a hydrating serum after a night out to replenish dehydrated skin as well as a nourishing night cream packed with antioxidants. You’ll wake up with soft, supple skin and no one will suspect a thing! For extra points, treat yourself to an at-home facial with a replenishing mask once or twice a week.

Nourish skin from the inside 

It’s easier said than done at this time of year but what you put in to your body, certainly shows on the outside. Between Christmas soirees, try and maintain a healthy diet including plenty of water, fresh fruit and vegetables. A good probiotic taken daily will also help keep skin clear and your tummy happy. A well-balanced lifestyle with exercise and plenty of sleep will also do wonders!

Protect your skin from the sun
