For as long as I can remember, I’ve struggled with rosacea—the redness, the visible capillaries, the sensitivity. It’s one of those conditions that can quietly chip away at your confidence. I found myself constantly reaching for makeup to cover up, even as I worked professionally helping clients treat their skin concerns.
At times, I felt like a bit of a fraud. I had a deep passion for skin health, yet I didn’t feel confident in my own.

Taking Control of My Skin
Two years ago, I made a decision: I was going to start treating my skin the same way I treated my clients’—with care, consistency, and compassion. Rosacea isn’t something you “cure,” but it can be managed. And over time, I saw firsthand how powerful the right products and treatments can be when used with intention.
Today, I feel confident enough to go makeup-free on my days off, or just wear a tinted SPF. When I’m working or going out, a light foundation is more than enough. That feeling of freedom? It’s priceless.
What Worked for Me
If you’re dealing with rosacea or sensitive skin, I want to share what’s worked for me—because education and transparency are so important. Everyone’s skin is different, but hopefully this gives you a starting point.

- 3 Microneedling Sessions with Exosomes – for skin rejuvenation and barrier repair
- IPL Spot Treatment – targeted for a cherry angioma on my chin
At-Home Skin Tools & Extras
- LED Face Mask – 2–3 times per week to calm inflammation and promote healing
- Exfoliating Cleanser – used sparingly, only on the outer face and nose (avoiding cheeks!)
- Calm & Soothe Sheet Masks by In Skin Co – 1–2 times per fortnight for extra TLC

What I’ve Learned
The biggest lesson from my journey? Barrier repair and hydration are everything when it comes to managing rosacea. It’s not about overloading your skin with actives—it’s about giving it what it needs to stay strong, resilient, and calm.
And most importantly, patience and consistency truly pay off.
