Re-lashing/refills is your maintenance visit, we recommend every 2-3 weeks. The longer you go between visits the more lashes will need to be applied again so the time and costs go up.

Coloured lashes and lash art available on request.

Volume $100 (every 2-3 weeks)

Our lashes are tailored to suit your natural eye shape and lashes, so that your lashes look thick and voluminous, whilst maintaining a healthy, natural look.

Coloured lashes and lash art available on request.

FAQ

Eyelash Extensions are a cosmetic treatment in which synthetic lashes are meticulously attached to individual natural eyelashes using a specialised adhesive.  The extensions are available in a variety of lengths, thicknesses and styles.

Whilst Eyelash Extensions are a great option for many people, they are not suitable for everyone.  Generally, Eyelash Extensions are best for clients who have healthy natural lashes.  We recommend a patch test prior to your treatment to make sure you are not sensitive to the adhesive if you have not had Eyelash Extensions before.

Classic eyelash extensions involve attaching a single extension lash to each natural lash, resulting in a natural and subtle enhancement of the eyelashes.  The focus is on enhancing the individual’s natural lashes rather than creating a dramatic effect.

Volume eyelash extensions involve the application of multiple, thinner extension lashes to each natural lash. This technique results in a more dramatic and voluminous appearance, as the increased number of extensions creates a fuller and more dense lash line.  Volume sets are typically preferred by those who desire a more dramatic and glamorous look.
The lifespan of eyelash extensions can vary depending on several factors such as the quality of the adhesive, the skill of the lash artist, the natural lash growth cycle of the individual and the care taken to maintain the extensions.

Typically, Eyelash Extensions can last anywhere from two to four weeks before they begin to naturally shed along with the natural lashes.

At Bella’s we recommend refill appointments to maintain fullness and appearance every two to three weeks. Refill appointments booked more than 4 weeks apart will be charged as a removal and full set appointment.

When applied correctly and with care, eyelash extensions can be safe and won’t harm the health of your natural lashes.  Eyelash shampoo is recommended daily to prevent the build-up of oil, dead skin and makeup which can potentially lead to premature lash shedding or even eye infection.  At Bella’s we provide all the after-care information and products to use at home to keep your lashes looking amazing in between refills.

We recommend coming to your appointment wearing no make-up on your eyes or lashes.

It is important to have clean lashes before your appointment, so please ensure any make-up, oils and debris is removed from your eye area. This will ensure a strong bond between your natural lashes and the lash extensions.

We also recommend you remove your contact lenses before your appointment as it will be more comfortable for you to keep your eyes closed for the duration of the appointment.
We advise our clients not to wear mascara while having Eyelash Extensions as it can cause extensions to clump and be difficult to remove without damaging them. We recommend enjoying the fullness and length of your extensions on their own.
When it comes to other eye makeup products such as eyeliner or eyeshadow, we recommend choosing non-waterproof options to avoid the need for an oil-based makeup remover. Using oil-based products can deteriorate the bond of the glue and cause the extensions to shed prematurely.
1.     Avoid exposing them to excessive steam, sauna or swimming.
2.     Refrain from using mascara on the extensions to prevent clumping and damage.
3.     Try to sleep on your back to avoid rubbing or crushing the extensions while sleeping.
4.     Use only non-oil based cleansing product when washing your face or removing makeup.
5.     Gently brush your extensions every morning and night with a clean spoolie brush to maintain their shape and prevent tangling.
6.     To keep your lashes looking their best, we recommend a refill appointment every two to three weeks. This will help to maintain their fullness and ensure that they continue to look beautiful and natural.
Allergic reactions to eyelash extensions are extremely rare but can happen in some cases.  If you have a history of latex or band-aid allergies, you may be at a higher risk of having an allergic reaction to the adhesive used in the extensions. If you have experienced an allergic reaction to eyelash extensions in the past, such as swollen or puffy eyelids and under-eye area, we recommend against getting eyelash extensions again as it is highly likely that the reaction will reoccur.

If you do experience an allergic reaction to the extensions, please seek medical attention immediately. We will also remove the extensions as soon as possible to minimise any discomfort or damage.
