Meet our newest team member, Rhiannon!
Tell us a bit about yourself! How long have you been in the beauty industry?
I knew from a very young age that I wanted to work in the beauty industry, it has been a passion of mine for many years now and I enjoy every minute of it. I like to get to know my clients and for them to get to know and trust me, when a client of mine is fully satisfied when they leave the salon I feel as though I have done my job and this gives me great satisfaction. This is why I love doing what I do.
After completing my Diploma of Beauty Therapy back in 2015, I started working in a skin clinic in Subiaco for the following 2 years. In the first year of working in the salon I began to study my Diploma in Makeup and learnt amazing techniques for different events and styles, I have been hired on numerous occasions to do bridal make up and was lucky enough to be approached to do a local celebrity wedding. I enrolled at the academy for a third year and this time I completed 6 months in Dermal Therapy. I was approached by Steiner to complete training at the London Steiner Academy, when I returned around 6 weeks ago to Australia I was lucky enough to cement a position with the girls at Bella’s, I am very excited to be working in this gorgeous boutique salon with such a highly motivated team. Please come in and let me pamper you in a treatment of your choice, I look forward to seeing you all in the salon soon.
What are your favourite treatments to perform?
Without a doubt, facials! I love making my clients skin look and feel great without them thinking they need makeup! I also enjoy sharing my knowledge with my clients on what the best products are for their skin type and the reasons behind why we use the products.
When you’re not working – what are some of your favourite things to do to unwind?
When I’m not working I love to spend time with my friends, family and pets.
What is your number one beauty tip?
My number one beauty tip is to use an SPF daily, it’s your best friend all year long! The sun’s harmful rays are just as strong and as damaging despite the temperature in these colder months. Remembering your skincare routine morning and night is essential.
